Motion Design is a visual art form which consists of creating figurative animated videos, generally in 2D. Within this context, motion is used as the main graphic and artistic tool.
Motion Design offers a vast range of creative possibilities by its very nature. Results may be figurative or abstract, realistic or stylised. They may include hand-drawings, graphic elements (shapes, textures, colours or patterns), lettering in a variety of fonts and sizes, etc. – all of which is then animated.
Motion Design content may be textual, narrative, descriptive or symbolic, and can be used for marketing or educational purposes.
